GALA TAKE ON REAL

The manager of Galatasaray SK, Roberto Mancini, has said that beating Real Madrid on their home ground is not going to be easy at all for his team.
Galatasaray will take on Real Madrid in a Champions League game on Wednesday. It’s going to be a very important game for the Turkish giants. They can’t afford to suffer a defeat in that game.

Galatasaray is at the second position in the Group B points table at the moment. They have played 4 games so far out of which they have won 1, have lost 2 and have shared points on one occasion. They have just 4 in the point’ column and to increase their chances of playoffs qualification, they need 3 points from the game against Madrid.

As far as Real Madrid is concerned, they have already made it to the playoffs. So, they will not be under that much pressure going into the game against Galatasaray.

Talking to the reporters about the upcoming match against Madrid, Mancini said, “Facing Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu has always been very tough. They have been a very strong unit and this season, they are even stronger because of the arrival of Gareth Bale.”

“Also, this season, they are playing under Ancelotti who I reckon is a quality manager, probably one of the greatest going around in Europe at the moment.”

“He doesn’t speak much, but, he has got tremendous managerial skills and he is a wonderful human being too.”

“We are quite aware of the fact that things are not going to be easy for us. But, our target is to secure 3 points and we will try our best to achieve that target.”

Mancini took charge at Galatasaray just a couple of months back. He has managed the Turkish giants in just 12 games so far.
