Andrea Stramaccioni assures unity in his Squad

Andrea Stramaccioni was appointed as the head coach of the Italian club UdineseCalcio on June and the club is positioned in the upper section of the Serie A standings with only a few points away from snatching an Europa League spot and Stramaccioni has revealed that he and his squad of players have the same ambition as any other top club in Italy.

“We are a team that has the same ambitions as Lazio, AC Milan or Inter, and we must keep our ultimate goal in mind. There is a lot of work do to, but it is normal because we have a very young team. We have taken steps forward in terms of personality, but against the big teams we must avoid making mistakes.” Stramaccioni said.

One of the objectives of Andrea Stramaccioni is to push Udinese to the top positions of the Serie A but he will also have to decide on the future of a few players in his team that have attracted the interest of other clubs.

Thomas Heurtaux and SilvanWidmer of Udinese are being monitored by Juventus and they are even being rumored to be preparing an offer for the defensive duo that are currently performing for Udinese.

SilvanWidmer has made a name for himself recently after being awarded with the Young Player of the Year award by the Swiss Football Association and Heurtaux has turned into a solid and reliable defensive option for Udinese for the past few seasons. These are the players that have entered the radar of MassimilianoAllegri’sJuventus and the January transfer window could see both players joining the table-toppers if the price is right.

KwadwoAsamoah, Simone Pepe and Roberto Pereyra are some of the players that Juventus has recently signed from Udinese but the defensive duo consisting of Thomas Heurtaux and SilvanWidmer could join that list.
