Riera impressed with Liverpool

Former Liverpool player Albert Riera said that he is impressed with the progress that has been made by Liverpool. He said that Jurgen Klopp has done a great job with the team and that they are now a team that can challenge for the title.

He said that there were signs last season that the team has improved when they reached the final of the Champions League. He said that they have made a good start to the season and that they are now genuine title contenders.

Albert Riera said that Jurgen Klopp has strengthened the team with some quality players and that they are now stronger on the bench as well. He said that last season the team suffered whenever there was an injury to a key member of their team and that this is not the case anymore. He believes that Jurgen Klopp has built a team that can challenge Manchester City all the way for the title and that there is no doubt that they will be there until the end of the season.

Albert Riera admitted however that it will be difficult to stop Manchester City and that Liverpool will have to be consistent throughout the season. He said that they have made a good start to the season but they have yet to face a team in the top 6. He said that their first test will come in the match against Chelsea and that they will have to prove that they can beat the best teams in England.

Albert Riera said that Klopp is an astute manager and that he knows what he is doing. He said that this is one of the best Liverpool sides ever to play in the Premier League and that they can win the title in the future.
